what are the factors that affect you to make a choice between UEC and A-level? when it comes for me to make the choice, i now understand what the author of 'the road not taken' feel..do any one of you know which school accept UEC ?
You can even study in USA with UEC. In that case,UEC would most probably be your 12th year of education which is better for you can have one more year of education to strenghten your basics before you get into university. In USA,they require at least 11 years of education. But of course, they fancy students who have an extra year of study so as to make sure they have a more stable and wholesome education. A-levels being the best option. But UEC is fine too. Liu Meng Hua said also got students study senior 3,then go to USA to study. It helps actually. But to study there, usually you have to take tests such as SAT, IELTS or TOEFL. It still depends on the university you are aiming for and what course you're interested in. =)
it really depends on where u wan to go..but A level would surely provide wider choices.. although some teachers say UEC can go anywhere...but i doubt it....
as i what i knew, singapore unis accept UEC, but we have to take another english test.. A-level seems more "valuable" but taking UEC saves time...and more and more universities accept it nowadays...

Actually, it really depends.
However, if you're going to success, nothing can stop you. Always remember that.
Just have some faith in yourself.
