Later in the evening, I am going to write the ELPE test AGAIN.
But this time, I need to pass!! Please let me pass~~

So the plan is: I am going to spend the first five minutes doing brain storming;
10 minutes for introduction, 20 minutes for two body paragraphs,
another 10 minutes for conclusion and the rest of the time to
proofread my essay.

Well, in order for me to proofread efficiently, I need to know what are the
usual mistakes that I could have made. These are the few gramatic errors that
I made in my first essay:

error # 1:
subject word agreement!

Eg: People, as human beings, have the nature of being lazy.

* I shall identify the subjects of every sentence and check if my verbs agree with the subject!! *

error # 2:
spelling mistakes!

-deadlines
-habit
*what else? hmmph...just avoid using words that I don't know how to spell @.@*

error # 3:
pronoun shift!

Start with people...they...people....
*remember*

error # 4:
usage of comma splice (;) and comma (,)

comma splice is like a period, it separate two similar ideas in a sentence.
Eg: Everyone needs to work to get something they want; even the ants "work" to get their own food!

comma has three functions:
#1: used to join a list of items **parallelism!!
Eg: The closest contained coats, shoes, and rubber boots.

#2: interruption in a sentence (2 commas)
Eg: Mr Wong, my uncle, lives in Vancouver.

#3: introductory commas
Eg, However,........

*just use period!!!! if I am not sure*

error #5:
plurals!!!

waiting for the clock to strikes 2.30pm, waiting to attend mt actsc tutorial session..
in the mean time, I figure out that maybe I should scribble something in my blog, so here i am =)

Next week I am going to have my finals T.T the subject that really freaks me out is the bloody english essay!!! I hate it... yep! the first exam that I fail in UW! Apparently, every undergraduate student need to write this ELPE (english language proficiency exam) and pass it before 2B term. or else, you will be in great trouble!! What is the consequences if I don't pass it?!?!?!?!?! CHOI!!!! Well, I need to take an english course...ewww....which I am required to write an english essay every friday! ONO!!!!!!
So, please pray that i pass!!!! I want to pass!!!! frankly though, I don't have much confidencde =(

hmmph....time is so slow when you want it to flies!!! it's only 2.04 pm....=.=...

i want to be happy!!! so i will smile after i get over with my "sadness". my uncle once told me that if u did badly in your exam, just be sad a while, after that u need to stand up =) i totally agree with him.. so that's what i am going to do.. wait for me..and i will smile by 2day =)

An important note from a friend to share with you........

A while ago heard that my friend's brother-in law's mother was cheated
of RM350, 000. And today, this happened to me. Until now, when I think
of it, I still feel numb all over. Only difference is that they did
not manage to cheat my money.

This afternoon, I was still in the office on my computer when my
handphone rang; I picked it up, but no answer on the other side. I
hung up, but it rang again, I looked but there was no registered no. I
picked up the phone and again no one on line. This happened for many
many time. I did hear some soft voices of a few men on the other side
but could not hear exactly what they were saying. This went on and on,
my phone just did not stop ringing. Then I remembered what I've read
in the newspapers and decided to call home. But I kept calling and
could not get through to my house no. and no one picked up on my
mother's handphone. Meantime, my handphone did not stop ringing. I was
getting really worried and finally managed to get through to home and
my mother picked up the phone. She was crying and kept asking me where
I was. When I told her I was at the office, she would not believe me
and I needed to reassure her that yes, I am in the office.

I found out that someone called my mother telling her that I've
borrowed RM120, 000 from them and asked her to bring that money
immediately for my release. They even had someone screaming at the
side pretending to be me "Mum, I am xxxx, come save me quick"... My
mother was so scared and the party kept my mother on the line with a
lot of rubbish, refusing to let her hang up. Kept telling my mother to
prepare the money to save me. Luckily I called home; otherwise my
mother would have gone to prepare the money.

Please be careful.....

1. The cheaters thought that if they keep calling my handphone, I will
really feel annoyed and switch off my handphone then my mother will
not be able to contact me.

2. The cheaters must have also kept her on the phone all the time so
as not to give her time to call me to confirm my safety. Please go
home and tell your family that if they meet the same situation, do not
worry, do not panic. Call around to check, many other phones you can
use. If your handphone also ring non-stop like mine, do not switch off
your handphone. Call home immediately to check. Let your family know
that you are ok.

Dear all,

This afternoon (14/04/2009), while waiting for my husband in front of the bank ( MBB, Jalan Taiping, Klang), I saw a Malay lady bending down to throw some RM1.00 notes behind the tyre of a car parked in front of mine.

After throwing the notes, she knocked the car's window to tell him that he has dropped some money. Right after that, a man came knocking on my window, also telling me that I have dropped something.

Fortunately, I was not conned by them because I have witnessed what that Malay lady was doing. They came in a group of 4 (1 lady and 3 guys whom all look like foreigners; like the Arabian/ Moroccan type).They will rob you once you open your car door to check.

2 girls went into the toilet, they were gang rape by a few man believe to be Malays or Bangladeshi.

One of the victims is now suffering from mental problem..

Tired..v tired..

Today is the last day for our mid year exam.. Modern Maths.. Who actually studies for that ?!? i wonder.. hmm...

So, after the test, 11 of us went to sunway piramid to have some fun.. We went to Kim Gary for food.. I think the food is too prizy for the poor like me..though we have 10% off for student rate..

Then, we went for ice skating.. The second time in my life time.. the first time was in year 2003 ^@^

We had so much fun.. i kind da know how to skate.. at least i think so..hey..i can move on the ice..though someone said my movements are a bit abnormal... =.=

I had so much fun that i didn't really want to leave.. unfortunately.. my legs are sending signals...saying...STOP!! STOP!! STOP SKATING!! Ooo Yaaa !!! Mind you guys to bring plaster when going skating...

(1)I am 04002, so i am always class number 1 in chong hwa independent high school for the science stream.When i say class number 1 means 班号. In fact, i was never number one in anything.. so sad..hahaha

(2)I am a 路痴. I don't know how to go home by myself..another sad fact..why is that so? that's because my parents love me too much and wouldn't or couldn't let me take the public transportation by myself. For them, i am still a baby ^^

(3)Another sad fact again...I joined the violin society since i was form 1. However, i just joint for the sake of joining. I started my SERIOUS lesson since last year ( form 4 )..so i am not good at violin but i began to love it once i get hold of the violin..what an embarrasement to say so..but it's a fact..

(4)O ya...I am actually a very dai b person...my philosophy is ... i think a person who is dai b is more happy compare to those who are very serious...but i am also very emosional..i can be very dai b for this second and very serious for the next..when i am serious i am seriously serious..don't disturb me at that time.. but most of the time.. i am still dai b ^^

(5)I am not a really tidy person...my room is such a mess..especially during the "test season". If it was ever clean..it wont last long...so embarassing ~~

(6)I have sleeping problems...I think that is why you can see me online even though it is or was so late or EARLY (in the morning).. So what if i try to sleep early? i just lied on the bed still facing sleeping problems.. so i choose to sleep later which make me a night person ..and i am like a panda now !!!sob sob sob ...Do any of you have any ideas to "save" my eyes ? I am desperate !!

(7)The fact is i am thinking what to write about the seventh fact now...

(8)I want to buy a new violin.. a better quality one..but my parents said that there's term and conditions...straight A1 s in SPM......gAmbAtEh !!!! ^^

after i have finished this "task"...i am now looking for my victims to sien jia them...so who should i choose??let me see.....

Haih .. .. .. Today is a horrible, terrible and vegetable day !! Why is that so ?
Today is horrible because i slept very late yesterday and my eyes became soooooo ugly and dark almost like a panda. Haih .. .. ..
Then the day became terrible when the calculus teacher gave out the calculus paper back to us.. another haih .. ..
Then the day became "vegetable" (just to rhythm, hahaha) when we went for the interview. It was such an embarrasement .. Oh my .. Those people who were there might have known the whole embarassing incident. Interview..Interview..Interview..I hate interview !!

Today was the first day of chinese new year. So i woke up around 8.30 a.m. Waking up at this hour was rare for me as i am a pig. A pig would never get up that early....but my hard work was paid off after i collected some ang paus from my relatives ^^.......

So after that i went to my grandmother's (mother's mother) house for more ang paus..^^(p/s don't be surprise..it's our "tradition")..however, the house was like an oven..i sweat even when i was sleeping on the couch..so hot ~ ~

So, how many ang paus did you guys get? i collected 12 ang paus FOR THE MOMENT...i am sure there will be more..hope so....

The performance was very cool a......Way to go Czeer, Nigel ,Daniel !! I enjoyed the second half part of the performance more, the songs are more lively...Unfortunately, i was trapped outside at first as i was late coming back from the washroom..paisheh paisheh....^^...then a....czeer was like a star..singing Rhythm of the rain..so yeng..><.. Nigel's masterpiece was cool too but i think (piano + flute) is a better combination..sorry..no offence..Daniel playing the flute very cool also a.....so yeng+yeng+yeng = v.v.v.yeng..haha..><

Actually a..should the audiece clapped like they did during the performance a? (p/s : i didn't) i am kinda curious..
